The Asus ROG Phone is an over the top handset with just about everything a gamer could want including AreoActive Cooler, AirTriggers and an overclocked Snapdragon.
Whether it’s for you comes down to whether you buy into all these elements. This is a marmite phone due to the way Asus has gone to town with the design, features and software.

It may look like an irate Decepticon, but thanks to a really good camera, a great screen and excellent gaming performance, not to mention a suite of overkill accessories, the ROG Phone manages to get right much of what the Razer Phone 2 got wrong, making it a great smartphone and an excellent gaming phone.

The ROG phone is both tremendously ambitious and unabashedly obnoxious, but I couldn’t help but find it charming. At $899 it’s also pretty expensive—but you get a decent amount of storage, and top-shelf specs throughout. If you’re looking for a big and undeniably unique gaming phone, this is the one to get.
