The Motorola Edge is an affordable 5G phone that lasts long on a charge. However, there are more powerful devices for the same price that take better pictures too, making the Motorola Edge a solid choice rather than a standout.

The Motorola Edge feels like a mid-range phone imitating a premium one, and it shows, with a few rough edges like a fingerprint sensor which isn’t the easiest to use, and cameras that take pictures which aren’t the best we’ve seen. However this is still far from your average mid-range phone, and it feels good in the hand and looks great.

Though it looks the same as the premium Edge Plus, the Motorola Edge lacks the power of its bigger sibling – and many similarly-priced rivals too. But what you won’t get at such a cheap price is the stunning 6.7in OLED Endless Edge display. There’s also a good, but not great, suite of cameras available and a decent 4500mAh battery that’ll boast a full day of charge. It won’t beat the competition in terms of performance, but it certainly looks better!

The Motorola Edge is a great phone, especially at the price. It feels like a true flagship and doesn’t really sacrifice much to reach the lower price. It’s fast, has a good camera, 5G and it’s one of the best looking phones around.
