Having held the phone in our hands for just a few moments the Motorola One Zoom gave us a great feeling, thanks to an original and beautiful design, very good cameras and decent specifications.
For less than £400 you get a Motorola phone that we don’t think is going to disappoint, though we urge you to await our final verdict once we have fully tested the phone.

The Motorola One Zoom offers better cameras than many similarly priced phones do, but this device's photography isn't quite as good as the Pixel 3a's, and its display, battery life and software are hardly class-leading for under $500, either.

Motorola has once again set out to prove that they can build great mid-range smartphone, and the Motorola One Zoom would be a great choice in the $300 to $350 price range.

The Motorola One Zoom is a very good mid-range phone with a virtually flagship camera. While there’s no denying it cuts corners to cost what it does – it isn't the best looking phone around and its power is anything but top-tier – the One Zoom will open you up to a world of beautiful images without breaking the bank. The phone also has a great screen and sensational battery life - all in all, a safe bet for anyone who loves taking pictures all day long.

The Motorola One Zoom combines a great camera, screen and battery with a mid-range-specced phone. Its camera is loaded up with three focal lengths and manual controls, as well as a capable Night Vision mode. It easily makes it through a day and thanks to that screen, it shines brightly throughout.
The Zoom isn’t a phone for anyone who needs maximum power for their buck – for this, a gaming phone like the Black Shark 2 would be ideal. Neither is it the best-looking phone for the price: that would be the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro.

The Motorola One Zoom is a good mid-range phone which you can buy for under £400. In return, you get the mid-range Snapdragon 675 processor, a good screen and great cameras.
It’s possible that the design doesn’t suit everyone, but if you can be convinced and are looking for a powerful phone with good cameras at a good price, the One Zoom could be what you are looking for.
