The OnePlus 7 Pro is a big-screened phone that purports to be just as good and high-quality as a Galaxy S10 Plus or iPhone XS Max, but it costs hundreds less. It’s launching on T-Mobile for $699 and will also be available unlocked in three different configurations ranging from $669 to $749.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is a beast of a phone in every way. It has a genuinely huge screen, making it a really big device. If you don’t like large phones, this is most definitely not for you.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is a remarkably good phone. The display, camera, and core specs are essentially all best-in-class – or close enough to count – while the few shortcuts (wireless charging, an IP rating) are easily explained away by a price point that still undercuts the closest comparable rivals by some way.
Your main decision is whether to get the newer OnePlus 7T Pro instead.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is an exceptional smartphone that puts current flagship phones to shame with its incredible specs and joyous all-screen experience. Its incredible battery life also sets the phone apart if you’re looking for a smartphone that will last you well more than a day. While this phone doesn’t feature every modern creature comfort—such as complete waterproofing and wireless charging—this is the smartphone that offers much more value than other flagship smartphones thanks to its lower price and better specs.

The OnePlus 7 Pro has a few surprises behind its stunning all-screen front, unblemished by a notch cutout or punch-hole camera. It hides a novel pop-up selfie camera and offers a 90Hz screen refresh rate that makes games and movie-watching look extremely fluid. Even if it doesn't have the best camera phone, it has features that Apple and Samsung aren’t giving you in 2019, and performance to match. One more surprise, though: this new OnePlus phone now costs almost as much as the iPhone XR and Galaxy S10e.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is the most expensive OnePlsus phone yet, but still over £300 cheaper than the Huawei P30 Pro. The 7 Pro has a better display, cleaner software and is a faster feeling phone.
But the P30 Pro has better battery life and not only better cameras than the OnePlus, but pretty much better cameras than any other phone. If you can afford it, you’ll love them.
It’s a close call though as Huawei’s phones may not even retain Google support for much longer. Despite the P30 Pro’s advantages, the OnePlus 7 Pro is the more sensible, affordable phone.

Being the largest OnePlus phone to date, you’d expect the OnePlus 7 Pro to boast a bigger battery than its predecessors and thankfully, the company hasn’t disappointed. The 4000mAh cell inside the phone certainly isn’t the largest battery in the flagship space, but it’s a good indicator of longevity, even before testing.

The OnePlus 7 Pro manages to innovate in one of the most competitive technology markets out there while still circumventing convention by undercutting the majority of the competition on cost. Even if wireless charging and water resistance aren't part of the equation, It has one of the nicest displays you'll find on a phone, is a superb performer, offers great battery life and the camera is always improving.
